SMART University
is our signature 24-week treatment, prevention and health education series that addresses the physical, psychological, and social needs of self-identified women living with or affected by HIV.
Over the course of three 8-week sessions, volunteer instructors from diverse professional fields including health, mental health, nutrition, and law lead classes that introduce students to new information and resources, helping them connect to services and utilize knowledge for healthier, more abundant living. In addition to learning the latest information on health and social justice topics, students experience the support and camaraderie of a nurturing environment, thereby gaining confidence to advocate for themselves, their families, and their communities.
We are continuing to offer SMART Live! University classes through Zoom. SMART Live! University classes are for SMART participants only. If you are an active SMART participant who has completed an intake, the Zoom link will be emailed to you each week of the current session. If you are not a SMART participant (or are a participant and want to review a class) you can view edited versions of our SMART Live! University classes here!
